Lavor has confirmed its winning sponsorships and partnerships once again in 2022 with the key players in the world of motorcycle and car racing competitions. A significant milestone for the company which thus
consolidates its presence at the main Italian and international events.
Lavor in MotoGP™ with LCR Honda
A new, major acknowledgement for Lavor is undoubtedly its presence in the MotoGP™ for the fourth year running. We have also renewed our partnership with LCR Honda for 2022 as the Premium Partner and Official Cleaning Technologies Supplier of the team that has been part of the MotoGPTM circuit for twenty years.
Lucio Cecchinello’s team is the same one as 2021: the riders, Alex Marquez, Lavor Brand Ambassador, and Takaaki Nagami, who will compete in the twenty-one International Gran Prix races from March to November 2022.
LCR Honda
Founded in 1996 by Lucio Cecchinello, the motorcycle racing team, based in Monaco, has racked up an impressive number of accolades, achieving 81 podium places and 24 overall wins in 20 years.
Alex Marquez – Spain, born in 1996, debuted in MotoGP™ in 2020, after a number of podium finishes in Moto3 and Moto2.
Takaaki Nagami – Japan, born in 1992. He has been competing for LCR Honda since 2018.
The sponsorship between Alex Marquez and Lavor
In addition to supporting the team on the track, last year, the sponsorship between Lavor and LCR Honda led to the creation and publication of three video contents featuring the MotoGP ™ rider, Alex Marquez. Three different settings were showcased in the commercials focusing on the athletic training of the motorcyclists.
The three commercials created for the partnership between Lavor and LCR Honda showcased:
The intense preparation of Marquez during MX training, where the rider used Lavor’s high-pressure jet cleaner to quickly remove the mud from his motorbike;
The rider during MBT training, on dusty dirt tracks. The bike was cleaned up in a flash with Lavor’s high-pressure cleaner;
The third commercial was built around the claim “Cleaning has never been so much fun!”. Marquez, riding a Comfort XS-R UP floor scrubber dryer showed how easy (and fun) it is to clean up a large area on board a Lavor machine. The video highlights features like simplicity, easy handling and speed where the floor scrubber dryer was driven Alex Marquez as if it was a Gran Prix motorcycle.
The videos, created for the sponsorship, demonstrated the professionalism, versatility and efficiency of Lavor on the one hand, and the commitment and hard work behind the athletic preparation of a successful MotoGP™ champion.
Lavor 2022 sponsorship
Once again, this year, Lavor is continuing its partnership with some of the most important Italian car and motorcycle racing circuits. The 2022 sponsorships are confirmed with the Mille Miglia, Avezzano Circuit, Mazzotti Cup and the Redbull Abestone FIM Hard Enduro World Championship.
The 2022 Mille Miglia
Lavor is sponsoring the 2022 Mille Miglia for the third year running. In addition to sponsoring the event, as we did in 2020 and 2021, in 2022, the company will also make its products available for the sanitisation of the cars taking part in the races.
The 2022 Mille Miglia, now in its fortieth edition (the tenth organised by 1000 Miglia srl), will take place from 15 to 18 June, 2022. The event will be split into four stages: starting from Brescia, passing through cities like Desenzano del Garda, Cervia-Milano Marittima, San Marino and Norcia before reaching the iconic Via Veneto in Rome. From here, the climb back up through Siena, Viareggio, Parma, the Monza racetrack, with the final leg to Brescia.
The Avezzano Circuit
Lavor will be taking part as a 2022 sponsor in the Avezzano Circuit, which will be held from 1 to 3 July 2022. Now in its tenth edition, the event is organised around the cities of Abruzzo, showcasing the cultural heritage of this area. 100 soft-top sports cars, pre-war and convertible cars of particular historical interest will take part in the Avezzano Circuit.
The Mazzotti Cup
Lavor will also sponsor the 2022 Mazzotti Cup, which will be held, as usual, in October in the framework of the events that pay homage to vintage cars. The event, which started in 1949, takes place in the area around Brescia with the aim of encouraging interest in the local cultural heritage and countryside.
Abestone: Hard Enduro World Championship
In 2021, the Abestone race took place in Tuscany for the first time and immediately became part of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship. One year later, Lavor, one of the event’s first supporters, has renewed its sponsorship for 2022. The company will provide a large motorcycle washing stand for the event, but on a larger scale compared to the first edition. Thanks to Lavor, participants will be able to quickly clean the wheels, steering, brakes, frame and mudguard of dust and mud, and get back on the track immediately.
Red Bull Abestone returns to Tuscany on 8, 9 and 10 July 2022, a three action-packed days of racing with sun, mud and adrenaline that will attract Hard Enduro enthusiasts and experts from all over the world. The official stage of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship will attract the best Enduro riders in the world to compete in an initial warm-up day, followed by the official qualification for the actual races on Sunday, divided into the Final and Super Final.
